1. Thieving Zionists!
Source: "Panic in Khartoum: Foreigners Shake Hands, Make Penises
Disappear." In Middle East Media Research Institute, Special Dispatch
Series No. 593, October 22, 2003.

Those Castrating Zionists!

We knew those powerful Jews had a lot of power, but we didn't know they
were this powerful. But listen:

It happened in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. Rumor had it that
foreigners were strolling around shaking hands with Sudanese men and
making their penises disappear. Two of these unfortunate nouveau eunuchs
told their stories to the press (the London-based Arabic daily Al-Quds
Al-Arabi for September 22, 2003). One was a fabric merchant who got into
an argument with a customer in his shop.

The customer shook the merchant's hand and the merchant suddenly "felt his
penis melt into his body." He went out of his mind and was taken to the
hospital. The other victim was approached in the marketplace by a man who
gave him a comb and asked him to comb his hair. Immediately after using
the comb, the miserable fool noticed he had lost his penis. These are
only two examples, but dozens of people who wondered where their penises
went filed complaints with the police. The police brought suspects in for
questioning and riots broke out as mobs tried to attack them. No one was
above suspicion as people began turning against each other, frantically
searching for their stolen penises.

Who was ultimately responsible for the theft of the Sudanese phalli? Who
would even want them? At first suspicion fell upon "West Africans," but
one Sudanese columnist determined to get to the bottom of it blew the tip
right off in an article published in the Saudi daily Al-Watan (September
24, 2003). So can you guess who really was behind this attack upon the
manhood of the good men of the Sudan?

First, the true nature of the threat must be assessed. The report in the
Saudi paper claims that the comb is a " laser-controlled surgical robot"
that penetrates the skull of the victim and passes right through to the
sensitive target area where it neutralizes the victim's maleness. The
outraged writer wanted to scream at the chump: "You jackass, how can you
put a comb from a man you don't know to your head, while even relatives
avoid using the same comb?!" What was the poor fellow thinking? The laser
must have fried his brain on its way to the grand prize.
By now the answer to the mystery is clear. There could be only one source
capable of developing such a high-technology emasculator. The man with the
comb was, according to the report, "an imperialist Zionist agent that was
sent to prevent our people from procreating and multiplying." Well,
DUHHH!!! Who else could have done it? How fragile is the manhood of an
enraged anti-Zionist.

(I didn't make any of this up, honest. You can check the source.)

Hip-Hopping for Terrorism

Alexander Cockburn can shake his toosh to it. It will be the rage over at

Yes, folks, it is Genocide Hip-Hop, the latest music craze coming from the
"Palestinians". Dion Nissenbaum over at Jewish World Review reports that
hip-hop "music" is the rage among young Intifaders and suicide-bomber

"The wanna-be gangsta boys arrive in baggy jeans and oversized T-shirts
bearing the likeness of rapper Tupac Shakur, looking for a chance to
freestyle with the night.s star performers. The groupie girls in glittery
tops throw their hands in the air, cheering on the breakdancers, when the
hip-hop party is brought to a screeching halt: Time for evening prayer..
The conservative Gaza Strip - where alcohol is all but banned, movie
theaters are nearly nonexistent and Islam is a foundation for many
families - is proving to be fertile new ground for hip-hop."

In one of its "songs", "Watch Your Back, Arabs," R.F.M. lashes out in
typical lyrics.

"Where are the Arab people? Where is the Arab blood? Where is the Arab

Not everyone in the Gaza Strip sees intifada-rap as a welcome addition.

A recent rally to celebrate the end of Israeli military rule in the Gaza
Strip, held amid the rubble of Israel.s largest settlement, came to an
abrupt end when supporters of the Islamic group Hamas stoned a young rap
group on the stage. "People got more religious during this uprising and
they prefer to listen to Hamas songs," said Mohammed al Fara, one of the
members of P.R. "They didn.t like the music. Hamas guys were mostly upset
because a lot of girls were excited about us and they were waving their
hands as we sang."

1. OY VEH:

'Oy Vey' Traffic Sign Goes Up Across the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn

NEW YORK Sep 28, 2005 . "Leaving Brooklyn? 'Oy vey!'" That's what
motorists now see as they cross the Williamburg Bridge into Manhattan. The
huge sign, affixed to a cross beam of the bridge high above the bustling
traffic, is a sweet victory for Marty Markowitz, president of the borough,
home to a large Jewish population.

When Markowitz first approached the Department of Transportation about the
sign in January 2004, he was rebuffed because the agency felt it would be
distracting to motorists.

After "revisiting" the issue, the DOT allowed the sign to go up two weeks
ago, Markowitz said Wednesday. "I'm thrilled."

Joan Baez is all Folked Up

What - no Kum-Ba-Ya?

Joan Baez, a.k.a. Little Joanie Phony, is back, fresh from her
gyno-bonding with Cindy Sheehan, but she is stirring up a ruckus for her
foul mouth and her stevedore-like swearing on a TV show airing on PBS
(that is, paid for with your tax dollars) about Bob Dylan.

ABC News reports that Baez was interviewed as part of "Bob Dylan: No
Direction Home," the two-part "American Masters" series directed by Martin
Scorsese that aired this week on PBS. She talked about how frustrating
Dylan could often be for fellow musicians, using the F-word. And no we
don.t mean Folk Music.

WNET spokeswoman Debra Falk said the station decided to use it because the
language was not gratuitous and fit into the context of the film. Sure
it was. What better way to for Joanie to help make the world safe for
communism than hissing cuss words?

U2 frontman Bono sparked a Federal Communications Commission probe last
year when he used the same word on a live Golden Globe Awards broadcast
carried by NBC. NBC also banned Motley Crue from the network after band
member Vince Neil used an expletive during a New Year.s Eve "Tonight" show

4. Animal Rights nuts Target Israeli Teva Company:

Animal Activists Make It Personal Against Industry

September 28, 2005; Page B3D

The New York Stock Exchange's decision earlier this month to yank a
planned stock listing of an animal-testing company marked a success for
the extreme tactics of animal-rights activists.

But it was only the most visible sign of a battle that has been raging
with increased ferocity in recent years in courts, at corporate
headquarters and sometimes at the homes of executives.

At one time known for throwing paint on fur coats, some animal-rights
activists are now seen by the drug industry and law enforcers as
home-grown terrorists who launch attacks against individuals connected to
animal testing.

The Big Board hasn't said why it pulled the listing of Life Sciences
Research on the morning it was scheduled. Without elaboration, a spokesman
says the listing was "postponed."

But the animal rights group Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty, which has long
targeted Life Sciences and its sister company Huntingdon Life Sciences,
had published the names and contact information of New York Stock Exchange
officials on its Web site, encouraging movement supporters to protest the
stock listing.

SHAC's targeting of the New York Stock Exchange is the latest in a string
of actions it has taken against companies in recent years. The group is
named in a suit filed in New Jersey State Superior Court by Teva
Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., and one of its divisions which alleges,
among other things, that SHAC members broke into the home of an executive
and charged goods on his credit card.

"There's been no other movement that has brought as much violence and
destruction and vandalism" as animal-rights and environmental-rights
activists, says John Lewis, Federal Bureau of Investigation deputy
assistant director in charge of counterterrorism. (The FBI's international
terrorism division tracks foreign terrorists.)

SHAC's quest to shut down Huntingdon Life Sciences, a British concern with
facilities in the U.S., has spawned related groups. In July, members of
Philadelphia-based Hugs for Puppies were arrested outside of drug company
Hoffman-La Roche Inc. and charged with criminal trespassing, criminal
mischief and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief.

Despite its cuddly name, Hugs for Puppies alarms drug-industry employees.
The group, like many animal-rights activists, decries biomedical research
that involves animal testing as cruel and unnecessary. One of its main
tactics is to publicize personal information about employees and their

At a recent biotechnology conference in Philadelphia, the group
distributed a flier and map with the names, home addresses and phone
numbers of several drug-company employees in the area. The brochure said
it didn't intend to promote illegal activity, but added, "Of course, what
you do is up to you," and give "our friends in the pharma and biotech
industries memories that will last a lifetime."

Last year, armed FBI agents raided the home of one of Hugs for Puppies'
key organizers, Nick Cooney, a 24-year-old nutrition educator who shares
his house with seven others. Mr. Cooney says he was not home at the time
of the raid, but that several of his possessions were confiscated. No
charges were brought against Mr. Cooney.

Drug companies and some government authorities are also fighting
animal-rights groups through the courts. In June, a New Jersey judge
declared a mistrial in a case against six members of SHAC who were
indicted for alleged crimes against HLS employees. The mistrial was
declared after an attorney in the case became ill. A new trial is
scheduled for next February.

Hugs for Puppies, Mr. Cooney and SHAC were named in a preliminary
injunction issued in April by a New Jersey superior court judge in a
lawsuit filed in the chancery division of New Jersey superior court in
Bergen County. The suit was filed by Teva Pharmaceutical and two senior
executives, George Barrett and George Svokos. The lawsuit claims the
groups harassed executives and their children in their homes, church and
schools. According to the suit, defendants broke into the home of Mr.
Svokos, president of a Teva unit, on Jan. 27 and stole an airplane ticket
and charged $5,000 to his credit card. In February, Mr. Svokos's priest
received an email accusing Mr. Svokos of "inappropriately watching and
touching children." The plaintiffs recently amended their complaint to add
a racketeer influenced and corrupt organization charge, a so-called RICO
charge. On Sept. 21, a motion for permission to appeal the preliminary
injunction was denied by the New Jersey state supreme court.

Through a spokeswoman for Teva, Messrs. Barrett and Svokos declined to
comment, and Teva declined to comment on its policies regarding animal

SHAC founder Greg Avery, 37, of Worcestershire, England, says his group
doesn't support violence. In previous interviews, Mr. Cooney has
maintained his innocence on this and other charges brought against him.

Subject: The Anti-Semitic Renegades from the CIA
CIA Renegades
By Steven Plaut <> | September 29, 2005

The Left has long painted the CIA as a far-Right neofascist bogeyman,
dominated by reactionary Dr. Strangeloves, paranoid spooks and "neoncons". The
reality, of course, has long been very different. In fact, the CIA has long
been dominated by liberal ideology and the left-leaning, blame-America
mindset. Those who are skeptical of this last assertion should read one of
the most important books ever written about intelligence services: *Informing
Statecraft: Intelligence for a New
* by Angelo Codevilla<,+availability,-daterank/002-8729161-5691238>
. Codevilla is one of the brightest minds on the North American land mass. In
this book, to which I cannot do full justice here, he shows how the many
failures of the CIA trace back to its kneejerk liberalism and politically
correct delusions. (See a more detailed review

The liberal mindset of the CIA has not only led it into a long series of
grave errors in judgment and gross misreadings of many international
situations. It has also led it to hire large numbers of radicals into its
ranks. The extent of the damage done by such people can only be guessed, but
a good idea of the dimensions can be gleaned from observing the behavior of
the growing number of far-left ex-CIA employees running about in the
anti-America movement today.

Leftists emerging from the shadows of the American intelligence community
are of course nothing new. The most famous postwar example was no doubt Daniel
Ellsberg <>, who has spent his later years as
a button man for the far Left. Ellsberg however was never actually employed
by the CIA, but by RAND. Others, at least as radical as him, were. Of those,
the worst is arguably Philip Agee, who left the CIA and published the
seditious Covert Action Information
with the help of both the KGB <> and the
Cuban DGI <>, a magazine dedicated to
promoting "a worldwide campaign to destabilize the CIA through exposure of
its operations and personnel*.*" Agee told Swiss
journalist<>Peter Studer, "The
CIA is plainly on the wrong side, that is, the
capitalistic side. I approve KGB activities, communist activities in
general. Between the overdone activities that the CIA initiates and the more
modest activities of the KGB, there is absolutely no comparison." Today Agee
runs a website <> from his home in
Havana <>,<>,
and is a dedicated communist.

In recent years veterans of the CIA who were employed by the Agency have
emerged as some of the most extremist bashers of America in the "antiwar
movement". One well-known example is Michael Scheuer, who anonymously penned
* Imperial Hubris*<>,
a book critical of the conduct of the war on terrorism since the mid
1990s. Scheuer
had been assigned<>to
create a "bin Laden desk" at the CIA. After
resigning from the Agency, he went on a campaign against the US invasion of
Iraq, warning that Moslems worldwide were growing to hate the US because of
its "policies", and in particular he blamed US support for
anti-American terrorism. He
considers bin Laden to be a "great man".

Former CIA agent Melvin Goodman holds roughly similar political
claims the CIA is being used to recruit public opinion and undermine
domestic opposition<>to
Bush's policies, and
is similarly politically
tied to leftist
groups <>. He denounces the
its failure to predict the collapse of the Soviet Union, although
no evidence that he had *himself* predicted any such collapse before it
occurred. Goodman also seems to endorse 9-11 conspiracy "theories". Appearing
at Rep. Cynthia McKinney's hearings, which featured panelists who posited
theories on 9/11 ranging from the Twin Towers coming down as a result of a
"controlled demolition" to the Pentagon being blown up deliberately and not
partially destroyed by a hijacked aircraft, Goodman was quoted as saying
about McKinney, "I hope someday her views will be considered conventional

Of those leftist ex-agents of the CIA who are publicly active in leftist
policics, most are also openly anti-Semitic, with deep ties not only to
radical leftist groups but also to neonazi and Holocaust Denial
organizations and web sites; the most notable illustration is the
husband-and-wife team of William and Kathleen Christison, to whom we will
return shortly.

Radical leftist ex-CIA employees are not as rare as one might suppose. Several
of them in fact have banded together to form the "Veteran Intelligence
Professionals for
". This was founded by one Ray
who once worked <> in the CIA's
Russian desk before the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, and claims his group
now contains 35 disgruntled ex-employees who left the Agency. William
("Bill") Christison was a member of its "steering committee", and his wife
Kathleen a rank and file member. Another member, David MacMichael, has
helped promote the urban
the CIA being involved in the drug trade. When
Danny Casolaro, a Washington D.C. freelance investigator, was found dead in
a hotel room, evidently having committed suicide, MacMichael helped
fabricate a "theory" that the CIA or FBI had murdered him, a theory that has
naturally been "adopted" by dozens of conspiracist web sites.

Whatever the true size of VIPS' membership is, the group has acted as
little more than a far-left anti-American group, allied with some of the
most extreme of the organizations in the "antiwar movement", and having a
special obsession with bashing Israel. Its members have appeared in several
far-leftist video "documentaries", including "*Uncovered: the Whole Truth
About the Iraq War*" (Robert Greenwald) and "*Break the Silence: Truth and
Lies in the War on Terror*" (John Pilger). In a rather typical
statement<>in February
2003, the group blamed all of the problems in the Middle East on

VIPS' Ray McGovern repeatedly blamed Israel for the 9-11 attacks, such as
in a letter <>
<>to the *Christian
Science Monitor* just days after 9-11. In an
the left-wing
*Sojourners* magazine, he claimed, "The war on Iraq was just as much
prompted by the strategic objectives of the state of Israel as it was the
strategic objectives of the United States." He has repeated the
Israel is manipulating and controlling American foreign policy, and
comes within inches of ranting about some grand Jewish cabal and conspiracy. He
has accused Bush<>of
being "out of his mind". His
articles appear <> on the pro-terror <> web site and in other similarly
extremist<>web magazines. He
claims to believe <> that the US
was planning to "plant" weapons of mass destruction in Iraq to justify the
invasion, an assertion that long ago became part of the
conspiracist web magazines. His
evidence was to claim that American intelligence had lied during World War
II and in other arenas of operations. Today he is involved in some leftist
church <> group
and he is a booster for Cindy Sheehan.

"Bill" Christison's bio claims that he joined the CIA in 1950 and served on
the analysis side of the Agency for 28 years. He later served as National
Intelligence Officer in several areas in the Third World and as Director of
the CIA's Office of Regional and Political Analysis. His main take on the
9-11 attacks <> on America was
that they were the comeuppance the US deserved for its unjust foreign
policies and especially for its criminal support of Israel's determination
not to be annihilated. He opposes any American
military<>action at all
against Islamic terrorists, and instead suggests that they be
dealt with by having their demands met.

The "Uruknet" web site <> of Iraqi Ba'athist
pro-Saddam exiles has published at least five Christison articles. There is
little about Saddam Hussein that Bill does not
like<> and
ditto for North Korea <>. He
has written: "Largely because North Korea already has a few nuclear weapons,
the U.S. has been deterred from the kind of aggressive action it has
employed against non-nuclear Iraq, and has been forced to rely on diplomacy.
And *that's a good thing*. (emphasis added)"

VIPS ex-member Kathleen Christison, wife of "Bill", was a CIA "political
analyst", which tells us volumes about why CIA analysis is so often
wrong. Incredibly,
given what she now writes, she was evidently assigned to analyze
developments among "Palestinians" while still at the Agency. Kathleen
Christison, quite simply, understands absolutely nothing about the Middle
East. Needless to say, neither Christison speaks Arabic or Hebrew, yet on
the basis of their two-week travel junkets they claim to be "experts."
A typical
proclamation <> by Kathleen
reads: "Before there was terrorism, there was the (Israeli) occupation.
Before there was terrorism, there were (Israeli) settlements." Actually Arab
anti-Jewish terror started decades before Israel "occupied" the West Bank
and Gaza in 1967, and before there were any "settlements" constructed in
those areas. So how could such a person be a Middle East "analyst" for the
intelligence service of the world's only superpower?

Kathleen Christison says in her bio that she is today "preoccupied (her
word) by the issue of Palestine." She has published several "books" that are
nothing more than anti-Israel pro-terror propaganda screeds, including
of Palestine<>and
Wound of Dispossession<>,
both published by the University of California Press, a publishing house
that just can't seem to find enough anti-Israel books to squeeze into its
publication schedule. Her "books" got rave reviews from the "Radio Islam"
web site <>,
which not only supports bin Laden, but routinely reproduces neonazi and
Holocaust Denial materials on its site, including the "Protocols of the
Elders of Zion." While allied with the world's most open racists, Kathleen
rants that Zionism is a form of
racism<>and that
Israel is an apartheid country. Arabs
who blow up buses full of Jewish children are NOT racists and certainly not
*terrorists* in the Christison point of view.

Kathleen Christison often crosses the line from merely demonizing Israel to
smearing all Jews. She claims that all Jews are "self-absorbed" and blames
them for not coming out openly in support of destroying
. She mocks and derides Jewish leftists who think that, in spite of its
faults ? real and imaginary, Israel has as much right to exist as other
countries. Kathleen will hear nothing of that! Even one of Israel's leading
"post-Zionists" has publicly
Christisons for their anti-Israel bias.

The two Christisons are today a husband and wife SWAT team for both the
anti-Semitic Far Left and Neonazi Right, although they despise
almost as much as Jews. They
are so extremist that even the pro-terror Kroc
Institute<>at Notre
Dame University, which tried to sponsor Tariq Ramadan in the US,
cut its ties with the duo. Both are regular columnists for Alexander Cockburn's
Counterpunch <>web
magazine. They
claim the US <> is
seeking "global hegemony". They have written that the Bush Administration is
governed by "dual loyalties", that old smear-term applied to Jews,
because Israel
supposedly controls American <> foreign
policy. They use the term "neocon" as interchangeable with "Jew". In writing
about Jews, the Christisons sound like typical commentators on Holocaust
Denial neonazi web magazines:

The issue we are dealing with in the Bush administration is dual
loyalties-the double allegiance of those myriad officials at high and middle
levels who cannot distinguish U.S. interests from Israeli interests, who
baldly promote the supposed identity of interests between the United States
and Israel, who spent their early careers giving policy advice to right-wing
Israeli governments and now give the identical advice to a right-wing U.S.
government, and who, one suspects, are so wrapped up in their concern for
the fate of Israel that they honestly do not know whether their own passion
about advancing the U.S. imperium is motivated primarily by America-first
patriotism or is governed first and foremost by a desire to secure Israel's
safety and predominance in the Middle East through the advancement of the
U.S. imperium. "Dual loyalties" has always been one of those red flags
posted around the subject of Israel and the Arab-Israeli conflict, something
that induces horrified gasps and rapid heartbeats because of its implication
of Jewish disloyalty.

The Christison pair claim to have resigned from VIPS in 2003, a cosmic
development that they ceremoniously announced in an
Counterpunch. Their
resignation was, in their own words, explained thus: "We share the disgust
of other VIPS members at the aggressive policy direction of this
administration and particularly at its distortion and politicization of
intelligence. Our disagreement is over methods, not principles?.We continue
to respect the VIPS organization itself and its purposes." They claim they
were upset by the VIPS call for Cheney to resign, but a far more credible
explanation would seem to be be that the Christisons just resented being
outshined and upstaged by VIPS' Ray McGovern.

The Christison pair devote themselves to demonizing Israel from their home
in Santa Fe and they seem to do little else. They paint Israel as an apartheid
state mistreating Arabs<>,
and one would never know from their writings that Arabs in Israel are
treated a thousand times better than are Arabs are in Arab countries.
They repeat
anti-Semitic conspiracy
nonsense<>about how
a cabal of Jews has seized control of the United States. They
denounced the 9-11 Commission
report<>because it
failed to blame the 9-11 attacks on the Jews.

Kathleen Christison has turned justifying Palestinian terrorism into an art
form. Her "expertise" on Palestinians is based upon having taken a couple of
short tours <>through
the region over the years. She
constantly plays Orwellian games with words like "terror" and "violence", so
that Israel's occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip count as
but Palestinians blowing up buses full of Israeli children do not.

She is a master of the Orwellian inversion: Israeli retaliations cause
Palestinian terror attacks and not the other way around; Israelis run around
murdering Palestinian civilians for the heck of it, while Hamas terrorists
are merely protesting occupation. It is Israel that is seeking to perpetrate
* "**ethnocide against a powerless
**," and not the other way around.** **Kathleen insists that** *Palestinians
have the right to use terror because *THEIR* weapons are mere suicide bombs,
whereas Israel loses its right to defend itself because *IT* actually uses
helicopters <> against
the terrorists. Her definition of "terrorism" is flexible, and is constantly
adjusted so that Arab and Islamic terror is always legitimized, whereas the
only permissible form of self-defense for Israel is to capitulate to
terrorist demands.

Kathleen claims the PLO has long ago recognized
Israel's<>right to
exist, something that will no doubt surprise the PLO, and that the
Palestinian Authority has even supposedly purged all those anti-Semitic
images from the Palestinian textbooks that the Christisons are unwilling and
incapable of reading. Here is a typical
Christison "fact checking": "The
ISM (International Solidarity Movement, to which Rachel Corrie belonged) has
(never) been associated with terrorism of any sort." The only Israelis whose
right to exist she recognizes are Israel's extremist far-leftist
anti-Zionists, Israel's equivalents to Noam Chomsky and Ward Churchill. When
it comes to smearing Israel, Christison feels not even the tiniest need to
stick to facts. And she is incapable of parsing statements she hears from
Arab propagandists <>:

"Palestinians in both Palestine and Amman made a point of telling us that
Arabs like and respect the American people, have always loved what America
stands for, but now hate the U.S. government and its policies. We heard this
so often that the message almost became a ritual. It's a sincere message

Sure it is. She insists that the near-suicidal
Israel's leftist Prime Minister Ehud Barak to the PLO at Camp David in
2000 was not a generous offer at all, I guess because it did not involve the
immediate annihilation of Israel.

Kathleen is quite literally anally-fixated, in more ways than one.
She rana column<>devoted
to serious discussion of a "report" (meaning a rumor) she heard from
an Israeli far-leftist extremist reporter, one who has already been
convicted in a court for fabrication (Amira Hass, who is also on record
calling for Israel's elimination), about an Israeli supposedly defecating on
a Palestinian photocopying machine. Forget 9-11, folks, the Christisons have
discovered a REAL human rights atrocity! This alleged morning dump proves
that Israel is an immoral society, opines the same columnist who has never
denounced a single Palestinian atrocity against Jewish civilians.

Here is her conclusions from this alleged potty incident (one which no
other media outfit reported, by the way):

"Is it anti-Semitic to wonder what happened to the moral compass of a
society that spawns a group of young men who will intermingle their own
religious and national symbols with feces and urine, as if the drawings and
the excrement both constitute valued autographs? Do they think Israeli shit
is cleaner, holier than anyone else's? Why are my taxes paying for this
army? How can Palestinians ever make peace in the face of filth and
disrespect like this?"

Is it anti-Semitic to conclude that Israel must be destroyed simply because
of a rumor that someone crapped on a photocopy machine? You bet it is!

The Christisons continue their obsessive interest in the potty functions of
Jews, in their newest "Number Two " commentary in Counterpunch, "Polluting
Palestine <>: The Settlements
and their Sewage". (You can see that the Christisons have not spent much
time touring the Middle East if the only pollution they can locate comes
from Israelis.)

And destruction of Israel, with the inevitable accompanying second
Holocaust, is openly what the Christison's advocate. They do so on
Palestinian pro-terror propaganda web
where they urge people to think "beyond the existence of Israel as a Jewish
state." They insist there is no room for

Israel is the ONLY country on earth that the Christisons seem to think needs
annihilation, although it would not surprise us if one day they were to come
out in favor of the elimination of the United States as well. Singling out
Israel, of course, should not make anyone suspect that *THEY* are
anti-Semitic, they reiterate while goosestepping their way through the web.

Kathleen Christison claims that "Palestinians" were historically denied the
attention of American statesmen, no doubt due to Jewish influence, going all
the way back to Woodrow Wilson<>
. The great irony of course is that the term "Palestinian" referred to *Jews
* living in the Land of Israel down until 1948, and "Palestinian" Arabs were
never regarded by the Arab world as a separate people at all until 1967,
when they were Sudetenized and defining them as a "people" turned out to be
such a wonderful propaganda bludgeon against Israel.

The Institute for Historical Review <> (IHR) is one of

routinely dismisses the Holocaust as a myth, denies that German Nazis ever
used <> gas chambers to commit
mass-murder, and insists that Auschwitz was never

has run Christison articles on the exact same

regular publishes the Christisons. Others include "Liberty
Stormfront <> (white
supremacists), and web sites claiming that the Jews actually were behind the
9-11 attacks on the US.

This month, the lead article on the IHR site is a reprint of the
Christisons' artcle
<>"Travels in
Palestine". The Christisons do not seem to be bothered by the fact that they
are so popular on neonazi web sites, and Alexander Cockburn does not seem to
mind sharing so many of his columnists with Holocaust Denial web

to say, the Chistisons are NOT the ONLY Counterpunch
ties to neonazi web sites and organizations.) Both
Christisons regularly contribute articles not only to Counterpunch, but also
to the anti-Jewish and anti-American

Christison has declared US intelligence

"monstrous mess". The
very fact that characters like the Christisons and the other extremists once
drew their salaries from the intelligence services proves better than
anything else possibly could what a mess it really is.

*Sharon Renews The RRH Doctrine*
Posted 9/28/2005
By *Steven Plaut*
I've long suspected that it is the Israeli grand strategy to defeat the
Palestinians by forcing them to laugh themselves to death.

That seems to be the only possible way to understand the latest
resuscitation of the RRH Doctrine, which has dominated Israeli policy toward
the Palestinians and the Arab states since the early 1990`s.

The RRH Doctrine was invented in the early days of Oslo and stands for
"Really, Really Hard." Israeli governments would make deals to hand over
most of the West Bank and Gaza Strip to the PLO, while reassuring Israelis
that there was no reason for worry ? if the Palestinians misbehaved, Israel
would hit back at them "Really, Really Hard."

The boy who cried wolf was a far more credible strategist.

Even if perchance anyone ever took the RRH threats seriously, by the
mid-1990`s the RRH was little more than an overly-long-running joke. Rabin
and Peres had threatened it during the early days of Oslo. Later, Prime
Minister Netanyahu, after each and every act of terrorism, would loudly
invoke RRH, but then did little, if anything, to retaliate. After Netanyahu
came Barak, who once again threatened RRH regularly. But his only
implementation of it consisted of chopper attacks on empty Palestinian
buildings ? and only after the PLO was given advance notification so that
all humans and terrorists could be evacuated.

RRH was also used by Barak (and other prime ministers) to threaten Hizbullah
in Lebanon and their Syrian puppet masters. After each Hizbullah attack on
Israeli towns and on Israeli forces inside southern Lebanon, Israel
threatened the most serious RRH. But, in the end, the only manifestation of
RRH implemented by Barak consisted of a panicked unilateral capitulation and
withdrawal from southern Lebanon, which left Hizbullah sitting smack dab on
Israel's border, with thousands of its rockets aimed at northern Israel and
with Haifa in range.

When Ariel Sharon first revealed his "Gaza Disengagement Plan" after winning
the last Israeli election, it too was accompanied by empty threats of RRH.
Israel could not get the PLO to make any concessions in exchange for
surrender of the Gaza Strip and the eviction of the Jewish population there;
Sharon nevertheless decided to implement the Mitzna Plan, against which he
had campaigned, and withdraw without any quid pro quo. He would just go
ahead with unilateral capitulation, whether the PLO liked it or not. And if
the PLO failed to contain Hamas and prevent terror attacks against Israel
after the withdrawal, why, then, Sharon's government would order the Israeli
Defense Forces to respond with serious RRH.

Yeah, sure.

Hours after the Gaza capitulation was completed and all Israeli troops and
settlers had been removed, the rocket and mortar attacks on the Negev began.
The PLO was calling Sharon's bluff.

Almost as old as the RRH Doctrine is the Who Could Have Ever Predicted That
Syndrome. Since Oslo, every new Israeli concession resulted in escalated
Palestinian violence. And the Israeli chattering classes would sigh and ask
rhetorically, "Who could have possibly foreseen this?" Likewise after each
violation of the Oslo Accords by the PLO, the media and the left-wing
politicians would pout, "Who could have predicted that?"

After years of daily proof that the entire Oslo concept was unworkable, its
advocates were still responding to each new failure with total serendipity.

The Israeli media could not foresee any failures of the Oslo capitulations
and appeasements because the media are by and large the occupied territories
of Israel's radical Left. The overseas media were even less capable of
foreseeing the consequences of Oslo because they were far more interested in
bashing Israel than understanding anything about the Middle East conflict.

The answer to the rhetorical question of "Who could have foreseen the
failures of Oslo?" is "Anyone not blinded by ideology." A few weeks after
the handshake on the White House lawn in 1993, I published my first article
predicting the complete failure of the Rabin-Peres Oslo initiative ? in
fact, it was the first such article published in North America. I predicted
that the PLO would simply use any territory turned over to it by Israel to
build terror infrastructure and launch attacks on Israel, and I wrote of
future rocket attacks and sniper fire against Israeli towns from the
PLO-controlled areas years before they actually began in earnest. And I was
hardly alone in 20-20 foresight.

It was not particularly difficult in 1993 to see why Oslo would fail. It is
even easier now, with 12 years of disastrous "peace process" experience, to
understand why Sharon's Gaza disengagement will result in an enormous
escalation of violence, not in any relaxation of tensions.

Let's give the Arabs some credit. Israel has been making so many threats of
RRH ever since the Oslo "peace process" began that a Palestinian leader
would have to be learning-disabled to take any of them seriously. If I
consider them a joke, why should Abu Mazen believe them?

The Oslo Accords produced the greatest escalation in Palestinian terrorism
and atrocities in modern Israeli history. At their most severe, Israeli
retaliations took the form of some targeted assassinations of Hamas and PLO
terror leaders. More often than not, Israeli retaliations consisted of
meaningless gestures like bombing the aforementioned empty buildings or
making sonic booms over terrorist concentrations, and of course the ever
louder empty threats of RRH.

On Israel's northern border, virtually no retaliations against Hizbullah
took place, even after Hizbullah kidnapped and murdered three Israeli army
officers and fired rockets into Israel.

All of this brings us to the latest rocket attacks by the PLO on Sderot a
few days ago. The main effect of the Gaza capitulation is that the PLO can
now import unlimited supplies of weaponry from Egypt, with no ability by
Israel to interfere. Israeli troops are no longer on the ground inside the
Gaza Strip.

We already see the results and we can clearly foresee the "unexpected"
consequences that will be taking place in the near future. The PLO and its
affiliates now have all the freedom they need to upgrade their rockets. The
new improved Kassam rockets will be able to hit Ashkelon from Gaza. Sharon's
Gaza capitulation will turn the Negev town of Sderot into Israel's
Stalingrad. The PLO has already converted an abandoned synagogue building in
Gush Katif into a weapons facility .

When the latest rockets hit Sderot after Israel's withdrawal from Gaza,
Sharon and his people responded mainly with a new round of RRH. The laughter
from Ramallah was deafening. Let's note that back before 1993, when Israel
held Gaza tightly with on-the-ground military rule, there were no Kassam
rockets in Gaza. The Palestinian savages threw stones at Jews because real
weapons were hard to procure.

The PLO knows what we all know; namely, that Sharon is afraid to take the
only action that, in the end, can end the shooting of Kassam rockets into
Jewish homes ? R&D, or Re-Occupation and DeNazification. Let's hope his
successor will be less pusillanimous.

Support the Legitimate Demands of these Militants and Activists Struggling
for Self-Determination and Implement Land for Peace Now

Since when are legitimate struggles for worker rights to be resolved
through military force and thuggish bullying? We condemn the French
government for using state terrorism against the Corsica ferry boat and
its inhabitants. The same French that have lectured the US and Israel
about the uselessness of force against militants and activists violated
the human rights of the boat hijackers! This is state terrorism! The French
must make amends by granting Corsica independence and internationalizing
Paris, a holy city for painters, gourmets and adulterers.

French troops have stormed the ship off the Corsican coast, ending a labor
dispute over the privatization of a state-owned ferry operator. Five
military helicopters circled over the Pascal-Paoli car ferry off the
French Mediterranean island of Corsica early Wednesday morning. About 50
protesters had commandeered the ship on Tuesday and set sail from the
southern French port city of Marseille for Corsica.

Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie, whose ministry commands the elite
GIGN police force, praised the French terrorist commandos who violated the
rights of the hijackers for "perfectly" completing their mission, The
Associated Press reported. "The mutiny is politically delicate for the
prime minister who is facing his first big conflict," the left-leaning
Liberation newspaper said.

Let France trade land for peace. Remove French settlers from Corsica now!
France must recognize the Corsican National Liberation Front (FLNC ) and turn Corsica and Marseilles over
to be ruled by it at once. The Invalides in Paris, containing the world's
most famous Corsican, should also be delivered into FLNC control, with all
French police personnel rmoved from the holy shrine. All activists from
Fronte di Liberazione Naziunale di a Corsica must be released from French
prison. All French-speaking settlers must end their illegal occupation
of Corsica by midnight Oct. 1. Otherwise all French military officers
will be indicted as war criminals in British courts.

The Chamishization of the Far Left and Far Right:
Chomsky.s Fallout with his Strongest Supporters

Posted by Plaut's Complaint @ Wednesday 28 September 2005, 4:32 am
The Noam is having a bad-hair day.

It seems that the ultra-moonbat campion of the Stalinist Left and the
Neonazi Right, those two camps with which Chomsky is so closely
associated, are increasingly denouncing Chomsky as a "tool of the New
World Order." In fact, Chomsky is a tool of the Old World Order, the
Comintern-version of the Old Left.s world order, not to mention serving as
Pol Pot.s favorite American professor. He also is closely tied to the
Holocaust Denial moonbat-Right.

Lately, some of those who should be his strongest supporters are
denouncing him. These include the
Far-Left-and-Neonazi-at-One-and-the-Same-Time Rense web site, and assorted
anarcho-fascist web sites like this. Others are claiming he is a mole on
behalf of the US military.

So why are these moonbats attacking their fellow cave dweller?

Well, mainly because Chomsky is not endorsing the same loony conspiracy
nonsense about 9-11 that they are. These are the people who claim that
the publishers of Foreign Affairs magazine (the Council on Foreign
Relations) operates a global conspiracy together with UFOs and controls
the planet from behind the curtain, and were responsible for knocking down
the twin towers in a "controlled emolition from the inside." They are not
quite sure how, but a Jewish cabal is mixed up in all that as well.
Dennis "Justin" Raimondo may be one of these true believers you have
treaded upon in the gutter.

In his book "The Conspirator's Hierarchy," the conspiracist guru John
Coleman (any relation to Gary?) named Chomsky as a deep-cover CIA agent
working to undermine social protest groups. Coleman claims Chomsky.s is
a "Left gatekeeper." Since 9-11, complains Coleman, Noam has steadfastly
refused to discuss the evidence of government complicity and prior
knowledge. Furthermore, he claims that the Council on Foreign Relations
(CFR), Bilderberg Committee, and Trilateral Commission are "nothing
organizations." Chomsky also rejects conspiracy "theories" about the
Kennedy assassination. Heavens to Mergatroyd!

Now the Noam is as enthusaistic a supporter of conspiracism, especially
when it involves "American fascist capitalism" or Jews, as the next
moonbat, but does not seem to have endorsed openly the view of these
asylum escapees that 9-11 was a "controlled demolition" inside job
perpetrated by the editors of Foreign Affairs magazine.

Mars Failed to Sign the Kyoto Protocol?

Posted by Plaut's Complaint @ Tuesday 27 September 2005, 5:12 pm
The greatest entertainment over the next few months will be watching the
moonbats struggling to come up with an explanation for THIS!

Evidence is emerging that Mars is experiencing GLOBAL WARMING!

Really. The polar ice on Mars is retreating and the planet is emerging
from an ice age. (Like earth?)

The explanation is very simple. Mars is undergoing global warming because
the selfish Americans led by Bush refused to sign the Kyoto Protocol!
Because, otherwise, how would the Moonbats know that earth.s alleged
global warming is caused by selfish American capitalism?

THE TERMS "BRAIN TRUST" and "Cynthia McKinney" do not roll off the tongue
like "peanut butter and jelly." But that's how the press release
advertised a series of "Brain Trust" panels moderated by Rep. McKinney
this past weekend at the Congressional Black Caucus's annual legislative
conference. The topic: "The 9/11 Omission: Did the Commission Get it

For the September 23rd meeting at the Washington Convention Center,
McKinney assembled three teams of panelists to tackle issues related to
"The Road to 9/11," "The Road Since 9/11," and "What the Commissioners
Chose to Ignore." After each panelist addressed the 50 or 60 members of
the audience, they were questioned by three experts from the "9/11
community," a group dedicated to exposing the government's malfeasance in
regards to the terrorist attacks.

On their face, the topics of the panels were not totally ridiculous or
far-fetched. After all, Rep. Curt Weldon, a Republican from Pennsylvania,
has spent months informing the public about the Department of Defense
program Able Danger. The intelligence gathering program may have
identified Mohammed Atta and other 9/11 hijackers as threats in the months
prior to the attacks, but the 9/11 Commission all but ignored the program
in its final report.

Weldon was on the panel's itinerary, but did not appear at the event.
(Weldon's office says they never confirmed the representative's appearance
at the conference.) Judging from some of the other speakers and
questioners at the event, it's no surprise that he wanted nothing to do
with it.

McKinney has long lived on the lunatic fringe of leftist politics. Shortly
after the 9/11 attacks, she claimed that President Bush was aware of
"numerous warnings of the events to come on September 11," and that by
doing nothing he and his cronies could "make huge profits off America's
new war."

Voters in Georgia's 4th district were outraged. She was defeated by Denise
Majette in the 2002 Democratic primary. But McKinney and her supporters
saw a more sinister reason for her defeat. Her father appeared on an
Atlanta TV station to explain why traditional campaign methods like
gathering endorsements had failed his daughter: "Jews have bought
everybody," he explained. "J-E-W-S."

McKinney reclaimed her seat in 2004 when Majette threw her hat in the ring
for the Senate seat vacated by Zell Miller. McKinney has since picked up
right where she left off; her "brain trust" panels were stocked with
like-minded conspiracy theorists.

Wayne Madsen, author of the Wayne Madsen Report, was one of three
questioners of the panelists. His hatred of all things George W. Bush, and
love of all things conspiratorial, almost rises to self-parody. In a
November, 2002 article in CounterPunch, a progressive newsletter, he had
this convoluted analysis of Karl Rove's role in McKinney's reelection

Undoubtedly, Rove was also behind the campaign to "get" Georgia
Representative Cynthia McKinney who was the first nationally-known
politician to question what Bush may have known beforehand about 9-11. She
was defeated by a former Republican state judge who had supported the
wacky Alan Keyes for President in 2000. Never mind, McKinney was "less
with Bush" than Keyes, so it was more important to get McKinney who was
"more against" Bush.

Michael Ruppert, the grand-daddy of all conspiracy theorists was also a
questioner. Ruppert has long made waves in conspiracy theory circles,
claiming, for instance, that the CIA was responsible for flooding
America's inner cities with drugs in the 1970s and beyond. According to
the biography supplied at the conference, he has spent the last several
years as "the point man in breaking major stories involving government
foreknowledge [of 9/11], corruption and violations of the Constitution."

The panelists were of a similar bent. One of the featured speakers was
David Ray Griffin. He spent his allotted time informing the audience that
the Twin Towers collapsed not because two planes loaded down with jet fuel
smashed into them at hundreds of miles per hour. Rather, a series of timed
detonations brought down the buildings. Detonations placed by the
government. "Hmm," the crowd murmured knowingly.

McKinney had also hoped that Senator Mark Dayton would appear at the
panels. Dayton, a fellow Democrat, lambasted NORAD for its failures on
9/11 before a congressional hearing on the 9/11 Commission's report.
Because he could not make it, McKinney played an audiotape of Dayton's
impassioned testimony. After the tape stopped, McKinney ominously intoned
that "shortly after his testimony, Dayton announced he wasn't running for
the Senate again." Knowing murmurs again ensued.

When questions were allowed from the audience, one of the first was about
Dayton's decision not to seek another term. Ruppert claimed that two words
could explain why the Minnesotan wouldn't run again: Paul Wellstone.

Ruppert, it turns out, believes that Wellstone was killed for his
outspoken opposition to the war in Iraq. And this is not the first time
Republicans have murdered political opponents shortly before an election.
The 2000 plane crash that took the life of Missouri Senate candidate Mel
Carnahan was also a murder, according to Ruppert.

Barbara Rosenberg, a microbiologist and expert in biological weapons,
suggested that the postal anthrax attacks were part of a government effort
to test America's preparedness for a biological attack.

To complete the scene, even Ward Churchill made an appearance, and he was
happy with what he heard. "I liked the overall tenor," the University of
Colorado chairman said. "The straightforward delivery was refreshing."

And, in its own way, informative.

Marching against war -- and Jews

David Frum
National Post

September 27, 2005

In Washington last weekend, tens of thousands of people gathered in the
protest to date against the Iraq war. The tally has to be approximate: The
National Park Service no longer provides estimates of attendees at rallies
demonstrations, and counts by the groups themselves are notoriously
But there is no denying that the 9/24 event was large and active. So it's
asking: Who were these demonstrators? And what do they stand for?

Byron York of National Review described one group of protesters, college
students, who marched from a subway station to the Ellipse, near the White
House. They chanted: "From Palestine to New Orleans, No more money for the
machine!" Then, as they got more excited, they changed their slogan to:
"How are
Israeli soldiers paid? Only through U.S. aid!"

York continued: "Someone in the group carried a sign advertising a Web
site, The site's homepage carried the headline, "Meet just a
of your Jewish Supremacist Warmongers," above photos of William Kristol,
Perle, Ari Fleischer, Ariel Sharon, Paul Wolfowitz, Elliot Abrams and

It was not just conservatives who noticed the protest's anti-Jewish focus.
At, perhaps the most widely visited left-wing Web site in the
States, one blogger posted this comment:

"Watching clips of the Answer Anti-War Rally, all I see are things that I
nothing to do with. I am a staunch supporter of Israel, and its
right to exist. I bet you that the majority of Americans who are against
the war
are too. Yet I watch this rally and see people basically supporting Hamas,
and the suicide killings of innocent Israelis in cafes, on buses, etc. If
want to break down the coalition of people against the war, turning this
into a
hate the Jews/Israel party is an easy way to do it."

One of the speakers at the rally was the British MP George Galloway,
from the Labour party in 2003 for his outspoken support for Saddam
Hussein. In
1994, Galloway led a delegation to visit Saddam and opened the meeting
with this
greeting: "Sir, I salute your courage, your strength, your
indefatigability. And
I want you to know that we are with you until victory, until victory until
Jerusalem." In May, 2005, a U.S. Senate committee issued a report naming
Galloway as the recipient of money diverted from the oil-for-food program
Saddam. In interviews, Galloway has described Israel as "this little
state on the Mediterranean."

Another speaker was Lynne Stewart, the New York lawyer who represented
Omar Abdul Rahman, the blind sheik convicted in the 1995 plot to blow up
York City landmarks including the United Nations and the Holland Tunnel.
herself was convicted in February, 2005, of aiding terrorism by relaying
from the sheik to his followers to commit new attacks. (She was able to
the rally because she is out on bail pending sentencing.)

Also speaking was Michael Shehadeh, one of the famous "Los Angeles 8" --
residents of the United States whom the Immigration Service detained and
to deport for their fundraising work on behalf of the Popular Front for
Liberation of Palestine, the group that hijacked the Air France flight to
Entebbe Airport in Uganda in 1976. The group is still active: In 2002,
intelligence barely foiled a PFLP plot to blow up a Tel Aviv skyscraper
with a
car bomb.

One would like to believe that characters like Galloway, Stewart and
are fringe figures in the anti-war movement. It is troubling to imagine
that one
could find thousands of Americans willing to be represented in such a way.
if they are fringe characters, why are they speaking from the rostrum?

Yet it could also be said that by featuring such people, the anti-war
in the United States is performing a true public service. It is revealing
something that it is important for all of society to know. It is revealing
at the core of these so-called peace marches you will find a leadership
strongly supports acts of war targeted against Americans and Jews. You
will see
that the radical left and extremist Islam -- while they may disagree
ideologically -- can find common cause, as the hard leftist Lynne Stewart
common cause with Sheik Rahman.

Galloway's least favourite stop on his current U.S. cross-country speaking
must have been his appearance at Baruch College in New York to debate
Christopher Hitchens. Hitchens, himself an escapee from the hard left,
knows as
much about its workings and its psychology as any living man. During the
Galloway repeated one of his favourite lines: "Some of you in this hall
believe that those airplanes on Sept. 11 came out of a clear blue sky. I
they came out of a swamp of hatred created by us."

And Hitchens' reply to those words at Baruch should stand as the ultimate
verdict on the true purposes of the strange coalition of hard leftists,
jihadists and eternal anti-Semites who now claim to speak for "peace":
"This is
masochism. But it is masochism offered to you by sadists."

1. Important Piece:

2. The Left and Hysteria:
The Left and Hysteria
By Dennis Prager | September 27, 2005

If you want to understand the Left, the best place to start is with an
understanding of hysteria. Leading leftists either use hysteria as a
political tactic or are actually hysterics.

Take almost any subject the Left discusses and you will find hysteria.

The Patriot Act: According to leftist spokesmen and groups, the Patriot
Act is a grave threat to liberty and democracy. It is frequently likened
to the tactics of a fascist state. This is pure hysteria. The Los Angeles
Times recently published statistics concerning the use of the Act. Through
2004, of the 7,136 complaints to the Justice Department's inspector
general, one was related to the Patriot Act. The number of "sneak and
peek" warrants, allowing searches without telling a subject, totaled 155.
The number of roving wiretaps was 49, and the number of personal records
seizures under Section 215 of the Act was 35.

The war in Iraq: It is not enough for leftist opponents of the war to
argue that the war is a mistake, was initiated due to faulty intelligence,
or is being poorly prosecuted. Rather they charge that President Bush
lied, that the war was waged for Halliburton, and that America is engaged
in a criminal and imperialist enterprise. Each charge is a form of

Risks to health: Not everyone who believes the hysterical claims of
danger made about secondhand smoke, baby formula, dodgeball or Bextra is
on the Left. But the Left leads the country in hysteria over dangers to
health. That is why leftist organizations are generally incapable of
merely saying that something is unhealthy. The danger must be described as
the killer of hundreds of thousands and often be ascribed to some
murderous corporate conspiracy.

Environment: More people may be attacked by aardvarks in any given year
than visit the remote and frozen region of Alaska known as the Arctic
National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). It is the home, however, of vast oil
reserves and many caribou. Good people can differ on whether or not to
drill for oil there. But the rhetoric of the Left is hysterical. Listening
to leftist organizations one would think that drilling would bring no
benefit to America and would render the caribou virtually extinct. None of
this is true. It is all drama.

Likewise there is largely hysteria over global warming and the charge
that man -- especially Homo Americanus -- is the cause of it. The great
number of scientists who claim that we are in a normal warming period or
in no major weather change at all are ignored. Only the most hysterical
scenarios are offered by the Left. Witness the reasons given for Hurricane
Katrina. Yet even The New York Times reported that scientists are
virtually unanimous in denying that the hurricane has anything to do with
global warming.

Animal rights: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the
living embodiment of hysteria. Take their program "Holocaust on your
plate," which equates barbecuing chickens with the cremating of the Jews
in the Holocaust. It is one thing to be concerned about chickens' welfare,
but only hysterics compare eating them with the slaughter of a people.

Racism: There is no worse charge than racism. Acting hatefully toward
people because of their skin color is among the most vile acts a person
can engage in. Yet the Left throws that charge around as if it were the
essence of the American people (which, come to think of it, is what many
on the Left believe). Most of the time, however, the charge of racism --
such as when it is directed at opponents of race-based affirmative action
-- is just another example of hysteria.

Christianity: Most on the Left really believe that this country is on the
verge of a theocracy because George W. Bush is an evangelical Christian,
because the words "under God" are still in the Pledge of Allegiance, and
because most Americans don't think marriage ought to be redefined.

Other examples abound. America neglects its poor, beats up its gays,
oppresses its women, fouls its environment, ignores its children's
educations, denies blacks their votes, and invades other countries for
corporate profits: These are common accusations of the Left.

No event is free of leftist hysteria. On the third day after Katrina,
civil rights activist Randall Robinson reported that blacks in New Orleans
were resorting to cannibalism. Indeed, most of the news media coverage
bordered on the hysterical. Not to mention the hysterical predictions of
10,000-plus dead in New Orleans.

None of this is to deny that the Right also gets hysterical. Some
right-wing reactions to immigration and Terry Schiavo provide such

But the irony in all of this is that the Left sees itself as the side
that thinks intellectually and non-emotionally. And that is hysterical.

President Bush Sells Louisiana Back to the French

President Bush and a giddy Jacques Chirac shake hands on the deal.

BATON ROUGE, LA. - The White House announced today that President Bush has
successfully sold the state of Louisiana back to the French at more than
double its original selling price of $11,250,000.

"This is a bold step forward for America," said Bush. "And America will be
stronger and better as a result. I stand here today in unity with French
Prime Minister Jack Sharaq, who was so kind to accept my offer of
Louisiana in exchange for 25 million dollars cash."

The state, ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, will cost hundreds of billions of
dollars to rebuild.

"Jack understands full well that this one's a 'fixer upper,'" said Bush.
"He and the French people are quite prepared to pump out all that water,
and make Louisiana a decent place to live again. And they've got a lot of
work to do. But Jack's assured me, if it's not right, they're going to
fix it."

The move has been met with incredulity from the beleaguered residents of

"Shuba-pie!" said New Orleans resident Willis Babineaux. "Frafer-perly yum
kom drabby sham!"

However, President Bush's decision has been widely lauded by Republicans.

"This is an unexpected but brilliant move by the President," said Senate
Majority Leader Bill Frist. "Instead of spending billions and billions,
and billions of dollars rebuilding the state of Louisiana, we've just made
25 million dollars in pure profit."

"This is indeed a smart move," commented Fox News analyst Brit Hume. "Not
only have we stopped the flooding in our own budget, we've made money on
the deal. Plus, when the god-awful French are done fixing it up, we can
easily invade an! d take it back again."

The money gained from 'T'he Louisiana Refund' is expected to be
immediately pumped into the rebuilding of Iraq.

Nidra Poller is one of the best commentators around these days, especially
on outrages perpetrated by France. She is back this week, with an
extraordinary article in American Thinker, concerning the French
anti-American take on Hurricane Katrina.

According to the French, it was of course all because those barbare
Americans refused to sign the Kyoto Protocol because they coddle their
industries. Here is Poller:

"Do you know why la petite Camargue in the south of France, with its
famous bulls and free-range horses, was flooded twice this summer? It.s
because George Bush did not sign the Kyoto Protocol. Do you know why
President Chirac did not get impeached after 15,000 people died in the
2003 French heat wave? Impeached? He didn.t even get pinched! It wasn.t
his fault. How could it be his fault? He was on vacation. If some
people were too dumb to retreat to a mountain chalet during this terrible
vague de chaleur so what? So they shriveled up and died. The fact is,
most of them were old; they would have died anyway. not going to
deprive a great statesman of his position at the helm of a great State
just because 15,000 people didn.t have the sense to buy fans back in
December! French media coverage of Katrina and her aftermath will go down
in history as Force 5 skullduggery."

We are as favorable as are other pro-capitalist blogs to entrepreneurship
and new marketing ideas, which is why we welcome the new marketing effort
by a enterprise in China to sell "Bill Clinton condoms." They will be
sold along with a companion line of condoms that will be named after his
ex-girlfriend, Monica Lewinsky.

Britain.s Sky News reports that the Guangzhou Haokian Bio-science company
has registered their names as trademarks for the contraceptives. The
condoms will display Chinese spellings: Kelitun and Laiwensiji.

A 12-pack of Clintons is expected to cost $5.00, with Lewinskys selling at
a discounted price of just over $3.00.

We here at Moonbat Central say, why stop there? Let.s have MORE
politically-themed consumer products. We could have the Al Gore

life preservers, Howard Dean hand puppets, (they really exist), the
Michael Moore diet for anorexics, John Edwards toy ambulances you can

Maybe this will Stop the Snotty French Comments about Bush Gaffes?

Posted by Plaut's Complaint @ Monday 19 September 2005, 9:57 am
The Euros love to smirk and make snide comments every time George W. Bush
(or other senior Americans) makes a gaffe. Just an illiterate cowboy,
they snort. Can.t even say "nuclear" correctly. Grammar problems
("Families is where our nation finds hope") and other comments somewhat
reminescent of Yoggi Berra. We won.t even BEGIN to recite what the Euros
say about Dan Quayle, Al Gore, and other gaffe-meisters.

The French are without a doubt the snootiest of them all. Which makes it
all the more delicious to discover that the Foreign Minister of France was
not aware of the fact that Germany did not conquer the UK during World War
II. (Maybe he has been attending a public school with a teachers union?)

French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy was in Israel on a state
visit and was taken to the Holocaust Museum and Memorial Site in
Jerusalem, Yad Vashem, On September 8 during the visit, he asked - while
perusing maps of European sites where Jewish communities had been
destroyed - whether British Jews were not also murdered. That is, he was
under the impression that Britain had been conquered by Hitler during
World War II. At least we assume that he knew that it was World War II
that Hitler started and not the Peloponnesian War.

Needless to say, Douste-Blazy.s question was met by his hosts with
speechlessness at his ignorance. "But Monsieur le minister," Le Canard
quoted the ensuing conversation, "England was never conquered by the Nazis
during World War II." No doubt the Israelis present felt an overwhelming
desire to scream "Duh!"

The minister apparently was not content with this answer, which was given
by the museum curator, and persisted, asking: "Yes, but were there no Jews
who were deported from England?" (To be exact, Germany did briefly hold
a few of Britain.s Channel Islands and it is believed that three Jews were
deported from them by Germany during that time.)

Douste-Blazy arrived in Israel earlier this month for a first visit, as
the guest of his Israeli counterpart, Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom.

5. Tips for Making the Grade in a Politically Correct University

Posted by Andrew Walden @ Monday 19 September 2005, 7:23 pm
From 50th Star:

1) Never write the word .American. unless followed by the word
.imperialism. or .genocide.. For extra credit spell it with a .k..

2) The word .Iraq. must always be followed by .disaster. or .quagmire..
Try to remember.when al-Qaeda bombs Iraqi children it is an act of
liberation. When a handful of American soldiers make terrorists pose for
sex pics at Abu Ghraib it is an unspeakable atrocity. Avoid discussing the
8 million Iraqis who voted on January 30 and the millions more voting on
October 15. And especially don.t say that our troops are the ones who are
trying to stop the bombing of Iraq. That could cost you an entire grade
point. Also don.t wear your Club Gitmo shirt to class.

3) Bush lied, but Clinton told the truth, even though they both said
Saddam had WMDs

4) Racism is bad, unless it is against Jews.

5) It helps to describe anyone to the right of Stuart Smalley as a racist,
a sexist or a homophobe for no particular reason. (Extra points for all

6) Always say America was founded on slavery. Never mention that it was
the Democrat Party which led the way.

7) Remember..stare decisis. matters on Roe v Wade but is irrelevant to gay
marriage and the Pledge of Allegiance.

8) Nobody is responsible for anything except George Bush. he is
responsible for everything.

9) Always talk about the creationist conspiracy to take over the schools.
Lefties see creationists under every bed.

10) Genetically modified plants are bad. Genetically modified humans are

11) Corporations are destroying the world. Extra points if you write this

presentation on it using Power Point, wearing Nikes and Levis.

12) Socialism will work this time for sure. Remember to avoid mentioning
the 100 million people killed by socialist governments since 1917.

13) Bush is a fascist and the USA is a police state. Ignore the fact that
you are saying this openly in the .fascist police state USA. without being
arrested and hauled off to a concentration camp.

14) The public schools are a disaster, but they can be fixed if only we
give more money to the folks who created the disaster.

15) Alternative energy is wonderful.unless it is geothermal in Puna or
windmills anywhere they can be seen by rich liberals. For an entire grade
point show your Prof a photo of you carrying a sign reading, .Dump no CO2.

16) Republicans are dangerous war mongers, pretend that Reagan didn.t end
the Soviet Union without starting WW3. [Be careful: your Marxist professor
is probably still very upset about the "noble experiment.s" demise.]

17) Rich white men are the enemy.except John Kerry, Ted Turner, George
Soros, and Michael Moore.

18) Its not the Fonda News Network.

19) Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy are feminists; even if you wouldn.t let
your daughter go anywhere near either one of them.

20) Liberals are standing up for the little guy. If the average Joe wasn.t
so stupid he could see that.

21) Say .sustainable. and .holistic. a lot even though nobody knows what
they mean.

22) Avoid these phrases: .America is the greatest force for human progress
in the world today. or .American pacifism is the most violent ideology in
the entire history of the human race..

23) When in doubt copy this handy text which will add points to any paper:

.Multicultural education is a progressive approach for transforming
education that holistically critiques and addresses current shortcomings,
failings and discriminatory practices in education. In today.s classrooms,
you can expect diversity. To maximize successful learning, we need to

cultural, community and family values that can have an impact on a
student.s educational experience. Different types of diversity exist
within classroom settings. It is important to recognize and celebrate each
one. The best way to deal with diversity is to accept it and provide the
best experience possible to all students. I hope this has given insight
and thought about the importance of multicultural education in our

6. Belated Justice For Haifa's Land of Israel Activists
16:02 Sep 19, '05 / 15 Elul 5765
By Ezra HaLevi

After eight years of police foot-dragging, a left-wing Meretz activist
has been sentenced to a year in jail and three years suspended sentence
for attacking right-wing activists in Haifa in 1998.

Deputy Chief Justice of the Haifa district court Rachel Hoza ruled
Sunday in favor of Dr. Eli Buchbinder and Dr. Ronen Adar, who were
brutally attacked by a group of Arabs wearing Meretz T-shirts and
hanging signs for the Meretz municipal elections.

"The severity of the crimes the accused is found guilty of is in the
fact that they were violent acts with completely harmful results -
damage to Mr. Buchbinder, requiring his hospitalization and undergoing
of surgery, as well as permanent disability for him. Additionally, the
accused chose to express his anger in this way against a political
demonstration carried out according to law and against someone who was
on the opposite side of the political spectrum. Society must stigmatize
completely all acts of violence and violent expression from ideological
debate - especially political."

Aviad Vissouly of the Land of Israel Task Force is happy with the
verdict, but emphasizes that the police postponed the indictment for
over three years, until Atty. Meir Hoffler, who represented the
complainants, threatened to file a Supreme Court petition against the
police. Once the case was eventually brought to trial, the hearings
continued for another four years.

"We, the activists of the Land of Israel Task Force, have complained
about dozens of violent attacks against us during the protest vigils we
hold at central intersections in Haifa from the signing of the Oslo
accords in 1993 until today," Vissouly said. "The police do not even
deal with our complaints, do not investigate them and do not hand down
indictments, even when we are dealing with clear cases of leftist
activists attacking right-wing ones for their beliefs. At the same time,
the police did not hesitate to hand down hundreds of indictments against
right-wing protesters for even the lightest infractions, such as
'unlawful assembly,' during the Disengagement."

The victims of the attacks, Dr. Eli Buchbinder and Dr. Ronen Adar,
refused to give up despite all the obstacles and legal costs, suing
their attackers in a civil suit as well. The court ordered 60,000
shekels to be paid by the attackers after a lengthy civil trial that
ended in 2004, before the criminal court convictions.

The attack <> took place on
Friday, October 23, 1998, when a number of Arab activists working for
the Meretz movement took a break from affixing banners reading "There is
Meretz [Energy] in the City," to tear anti-Oslo Accords signs out of the
hands of Land of Israel activists standing at a nearby intersection,
telling them to "get out of here or we will kill you!"

The Arabs then attacked Dr. Buchbinder, after he tried to prevent a
scuffle with a fellow activist who had accidentally dislodged one of the
Meretz banners. He was punched in the face and kicked mercilessly once
he hit the ground. "I remember myself on the pavement with three or four
hooligans beating me without respite," Dr. Buchbinder told the B'Sheva
newspaper. "I completely panicked. Everything around me became foggy. I
tried to defend myself in one place and just to be beaten in another
one. They deliberately aimed their blows mostly at my face. My entire
body went into shock, numb and completely powerless. I felt like I was
being lynched, that there was no chance I would emerge from this alive.
It continued for a while longer - them just beating and kicking me with
all their might, with intense burning anger. It wasn't a scuffle; they
fully intended to kill me."

Dr. Adar, standing nearby, tried to save his friend. "I screamed with
all my might, 'Stop beating him, don't use violence!' I saw them trying
to literally murder him," Adar said. "I have never in my entire life
seen such a violent and savage scene. There were Jewish Meretz activists
standing nearby and I saw the complete shock in their eyes as well."

Dr. Adar then tried to get his camera to take pictures of the
perpetrators. "I ran to the other side of the street to get my camera
from my bag," said Adar. "When I returned they told me the Arabs had
gone to a coffee shop in the Carmelit neighborhood. I ran to the coffee
shop and they were sitting there, with a dozen other Meretz activists
all wearing Meretz t-shirts, drinking - ostensibly to relax after the
attack. I stood on the sidewalk and took two pictures of them sitting in
the coffee shop wearing their Meretz t-shirts. They suddenly saw me
photographing them and became very alarmed. They ran out of the coffee
shop and tried to grab my camera. I wouldn't give it to them so they
knocked me to the ground and began to kick me all over my body."

Following the attack, Dr. Buchbinder was brought to Rambam hospital
where doctors informed him that he suffered four fractures of his jaw.
He underwent a lengthy surgery over the Sabbath to reconstruct his jaw
with a metal pin and several screws, remaining hospitalized for the next
five days. The doctors informed him that he had 5% permanent paralysis.
Dr. Buchbinder lost a year of doctoral work, leading to a substantial
economic loss as well.

Atty. Hoffler and Drs. Buchbinder and Adar filed a complaint with the
Haifa police immediately following the incident. The police did not
respond, and ignored repeated letters from Atty. Hoffler. The letters,
sent to the then-commander of the Haifa region, Brigadier-General Dov
Shechter, Major-General Alik Ron, then police chief of the northern
region, and Superintendent Yisrael Grey, received no response

While researching the case, Atty. Hoffler discovered that the attackers
were relatives of Atty. Ghassan Abu-Warada, who was running at the time
for Haifa city council as a candidate for the Meretz party. The attack
had taken place preceding the local municipal elections in which Amram
Mitzna ran for mayor of Haifa, and Abu-Warada had hired his relatives to
stand at that intersection and hang up Meretz banners. "It is
regrettable that the judge didn't have the courage to convict Abu-Warada
as well, for sitting silently without raising a finger when his men beat
Dr. Adar mercilessly," Atty. Hoffler said. "The judge unfortunately
decided that the defendant would walk out scot-free, unpunished for his
shameful behavior, which clearly contravenes an Israeli law called 'Do
not stand idly by thy brother's blood.' "

Meretz spokesman Roi Yellin told B'Sheva newspaper at the time that his
party condemns the violence against the Land of Israel activists. "We
explain to all our members that it is forbidden to act in a violent
manner. Meretz is against such behavior and condemns it fully. Violent
behavior is against everything we stand for and believe in, and in our
eyes is simply out of the question. It is important to stress, though,
that the attackers were not bona fide Meretz activists, but workers
specifically hired for local election campaigning."

Vissouly intends to continue to pursue what he believes to be the root
of the matter. "There is no doubt that an invisible political hand
guides the police prosecution against right-wing activists, while
expressing complete disregard for violence used against them - whether
by police themselves or left-wing activists," he said. "This is
discriminatory enforcement of the law, which is illegal and even corrupt
- and should not be found in a country that claims to be democratic."

"The State Comptroller should be advised to examine the police
procedures, the prosecution and the Attorney General with regard to the
policy of dealing with indictments against demonstrators."
